Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with leadership capabilities to develop and execute automation roadmaps across IIoT, robotics, and SCADA systems. You will oversee projects from concept through commissioning, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure documentation aligns with standards.

The role requires a strong background in PLCs, robotics, and control systems, along with a commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience and 4+ years of leadership.
• GED/HS diploma with 9+ years of specific experience and 6+ years of leadership.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation roadmaps, including IIoT, robotics, and SCADA systems, to improve manufacturing performance.
• Oversee project lifecycles from concept to commissioning, including budgets, timelines, and SOPs/manuals.
• Troubleshoot and support PLCs, robotics, and control systems to reduce downtime.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process robustness, efficiency, and safety.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering personnel.
• Ensure all automation systems meet food safety, sanitary design, and regulatory requirements.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
