Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Milwaukee is seeking an Automation Engineering Leader to design and deploy automation roadmaps across manufacturing lines, including IIoT, robotics, and SCADA systems. You will oversee projects from concept to commissioning, manage budgets and timelines, mentor engineering staff, ensure food safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reliability.

A bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience (or a GED with 9+ years) and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years related experience and 4+ years leadership or GED with 9+ years specific experience and 6+ years leadership
• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation roadmaps including IIoT, robotics, and SCADA systems to improve manufacturing performance
• Oversee project lifecycles from concept to commissioning, including budgets, timelines, and technical documentation (SOPs, manuals)
• Troubleshoot and support PLCs, robotics, and control systems, reducing downtime and resolving issues
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process robustness, efficiency, and safety
• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering personnel
• Ensure all automation systems meet food safety, sanitary design, and regulatory requirements
• Other projects or duties as assigned
