Symbotic is seeking a Technical Control Engineer to ensure reliable operation of automated systems at client sites. You will troubleshoot, provide remote support, and lead incident responses across software, controls, and hardware.

The role requires hands-on expertise with automation, PLCs (AB ControlLogix), motion control, and Linux/Windows environments. Travel up to 15% and collaboration with R&D and Customer Operations are key parts of the job.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field is preferred.
• 2+ years in technical support, controls, or engineering for complex systems.
• Experience in automation, robotics, warehousing, or supply chain environments preferred.
• Remote system support experience (Remote Desktop, SSH) is required.

Mansioni

• Manage and resolve complex technical support requests via tickets, phone, email, and chat.
• Provide advanced remote support for electro-mechanical, software, networking, and controls issues.
• Troubleshoot automation, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and motion control systems.
• Act as escalation point during major incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Monitor system performance and drive RCA to reduce MTTR and recurrence.
