Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Automation Engineer - Commissioning to implement and validate control system solutions for critical electrical infrastructure. You will diagnose issues, perform testing, and contribute to power system automation designs while interfacing with customers on-site and in-office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with automation and commissioning of power control systems.
• Good knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and/or automation and communications applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentations and field communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing control system logic and field wiring at customer sites.
• Contribute to Power System Automation designs and logic/HMI development and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain design documents, test reports, and deliverables.
• Follow SEL values and World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
