Job summary

Cox is seeking an Intern/Co‑Op in Draper, UT to develop and manage enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, security, and monitoring. You will build automation across public/private clouds, tooling for CI/CD, and gain exposure to senior leaders.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The role offers hourly pay and may lead to full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• Passion for technology, reverse engineering and coding.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, containers and databases.
• Experience with source control, build, deploy, orchestration and configuration management tools.
• Experience coding in at least one high-level language.
• Automation mindset to reduce manual tasks.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Interest in secure, resilient apps at scale.
• Interest in measuring application performance.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation for infra provisioning and procedures across environments.
• Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed.
• Follow best practices, security and engineering standards.
• Build tools and pipelines for CI/CD across environments.
• Automate code packaging, deployment and configuration management.
• Solicit feedback from delivery and operations on CI/CD challenges.
• Monitor system and service performance across environments.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity, testing, and automation.
