Job summary

OP Mobility in Anderson, SC seeks an Assembly Process Engineer - Bonding to launch and troubleshoot automated bonding systems for high-volume automotive exterior components. You will work with robots, adhesive dispensing, ultrasonic welding, laser cutting, and vision systems to ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities include developing bonding processes, validating surface treatments, and supporting Start of Production with travel to Greer, IL, Spring Hill, TN, and Toledo, OH up to 8 weeks

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 12 months of experience launching automated assembly and bonding equipment.
• Experience with robots, adhesive dispensing systems, and ultrasonic welding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Launch and troubleshoot automated assembly and high-performance bonding equipment.
• Develop and standardize bonding and assembly processes using 2K adhesives.
• Travel to multiple plants to support deployment and commissioning.
