Job summary
TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer II - Assembly Automation for the onsite Fuquay-Varina facility in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes with automated assembly systems, robotics, and lean practices.
Travel is estimated at 10–25% as needed for projects and collaborations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with automation systems, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with assembly automation systems.
- Knowledge of process troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes with a focus on automation systems.
- Lead automation capital projects from concept through production implementation.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, tooling, and suppliers.
- Support PFMEA, control plans, and process validations.
