Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support automation assembly operations. You will lead continuous improvement, troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues, and drive improvements in OEE, scrap, cycle time, downtime, capacity and cost.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in high-volume automated environment.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting automated manufacturing or assembly equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling, pneumatics, PLCs, controls, sensors, servos, robotics, and industrial automation.
• Experience leading manufacturing improvement, automation, productivity, or capital projects.
• Experience with CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and equipment improvements focusing on safety, quality, productivity, scrap reduction, OEE, downtime, cycle time, and capacity.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and develop practical solutions to improve process capability, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support customer quality issues and corrective actions through structured root-cause analysis.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to high-volume automated assembly operations.
