Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer II - Assembly Automation (Onsite) in the Raleigh/Fuquay-Varina area, with 10–25% travel. You will lead automation projects, optimize processes, and support PFMEA and capability studies to improve quality and productivity.

The role requires hands-on experience with automated assembly systems, robotics, and lean manufacturing, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager at the Fuquay-Varina facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience implementing or supporting assembly automation systems.
• Knowledge of process troubleshooting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes with focus on automation systems.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve safety, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Manage automation capital projects from concept through production.
• Support PFMEA, control plans, process validations, and capability studies.
