Haumiller Engineering is seeking an Account Manager in Elgin, IL to translate customer needs into quotes and coordinate with Applications Engineers. You will negotiate delivery and price to balance customer satisfaction with profitability, and identify improvements to tools and processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or technical project management, 3+ years in automation sales or project coordination, CRM experience, and strong MS Office skills; CAD viewer familiarity is a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical project management.
• 3+ years’ experience as a salesperson, project manager or coordinator with direct customer interface in automation.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic skills to navigate SolidWorks/viewer and AutoCAD/viewer.

Responsibilities

• Understands customer needs to ensure quotes meet expectations.
• Negotiates delivery and price to balance satisfaction and profitability.
• Judges what written information is required for customers.
• Identifies changes to standards/tools to reduce errors or inefficiencies.
• Documents future opportunities where direct interface is not needed.
• Works and sets up trade shows (orders services and booth items).
• Regular travel is required to maintain and solicit accounts.
