Haumiller Engineering Co is seeking an Account Manager to drive technical sales of automation machinery and manage customer relationships with our Applications Engineers. The role requires understanding customers’ needs, negotiating pricing and delivery, and traveling to maintain accounts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of direct customer interface experience in automation projects, CRM software familiarity, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical project management.
• 3+ years’ experience in sales/project management with direct customer interface in automation.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Basic skills to navigate SolidWorks/AutoCAD viewers.

Responsibilities

• Understands customer needs and ensures quotes meet expectations.
• Negotiates delivery and price balancing customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Judges what information is required by the customer.
• Communicates needed changes to standards, tools and workspace.
• Documents future opportunities when direct salesperson interface is not needed.
• Travels regularly to maintain and solicit accounts.
