Proven Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an IS Business Analyst I in San Diego to collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical deliverables, and identify workflow automation opportunities. Qualifications

Working knowledge of Python and SQL; ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot scripts/queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to break down complex processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong documentation skills.
Ideally 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with agile/scrum, Jira, Power Automate, Power BI, or Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and requirements, then translate them into clear, actionable technical deliverables.
Evaluate existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
Support the creation of business and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, and design docs.
Assist in building, testing, and troubleshooting automation solutions using Python, SQL, and other tools.
