Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive automation and AI initiatives across the organization. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate needs into automation and AI-driven solutions, applying design thinking to uncover opportunities for improvement.

The role focuses on low-code automation and AI-driven workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams from project management to supply chain and talent acquisition to deliver measurable efficiency

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analyst background with experience gathering and translating business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Design Thinking methodologies.
• Experience with low-code automation and AI solutions.
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead group meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Python knowledge or experience.
• Experience with the broader Microsoft technology stack, such as Azure and/or Microsoft Foundry.
• Experience with UX, user-centered design, or facilitation.
• Experience applying AI or automation to business processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for automation and AI initiatives.
• Apply Business Analysis and Design Thinking techniques to understand business challenges, evaluate processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and delivery of low-code automation, AI, and RPA solutions that improve business workflows and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate group meetings, discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and gather input.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, process improvements, use cases, and solution recommendations.
• Work across a variety of initiatives that may span corporate operations, project management, supply chain, Talent Acquisition, and Business Development.
• Help identify opportunities to incorporate AI and prompting into existing business workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout solution development, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a team focused on intelligent automation, AI, and low-code solutions across the organization. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business processes, facilitate requirements and solution discussions, and help translate business needs into automation and AI-driven solutions.

The team has evolved from a broader organization covering automation, AI, and data analytics. With Data Analytics now operating as a separate department, this team is focused specifically on automation and AI initiatives, including the use of AI prompting and intelligent automation within business workflows.

Key Responsibilities
