Iru is seeking an Operations Engineer to be the first builder in its Operations function, reporting to the Head of Operations. The role blends business operations with engineering in a high-velocity AI-driven environment.

You will design systems, integrations, and automations to scale with the business and measure capacity gains rather than ticket counts. The role emphasizes building reusable platforms and tools, enabling teams to work smarter, not harder, with a strong bias for practical

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and scaling operations with a technical skew.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations and automations across our internal stack so data moves between systems instead of through people.
• Write real code where the tooling runs out—scripts, services, jobs.
• Build internal applications people actually use.
• Put AI where it earns its place in real workflows with guardrails.
• Own automation quality end to end: logging, error handling, monitoring, retries, secrets management.
• Build human approval steps into anything touching money, access, or the ledger.
• Partner with Data and Engineering on pipelines, source-of-truth, and reporting.
