Job summary

Iru is hiring an Operations Engineer—the first builder in its Operations function, reporting to the Head of Operations. You’ll design and build integrations, automations, and internal tools to scale the business without headcount growth.

You’ll connect finance, planning, and analytics while embedding AI-driven decisions in real workflows. Bring 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL, strong integration fundamentals, and a track record of shipping systems that run without constant

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and scaling operations with a technical skew.
• Demonstrated success with building an ongoing system that runs independently.
• Hands-on Python and SQL; able to reconcile data across systems.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations and automations across internal stack.
• Write code when tooling falls short; build scripts and services.
• Create internal applications used by teams.
• Integrate AI into workflows with evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop.
• Own end-to-end automation quality: logging, errors, monitoring.
