Job summary

LCS is seeking an experienced IT professional to implement, maintain, optimize, and proactively support its business systems in Des Moines, IA. As a subject matter expert, you’ll monitor system health, resolve root causes, and lead complex projects while driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.

You will translate business needs into technical solutions using automation, AI, and secure governance practices to enhance efficiency and decision-making for the organization that serves

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Six or more years of related experience; direct business systems experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with SQL, scripting, integrations, automation or AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and integrate LCS business systems to meet complex business needs and improve functionality.
• Build, maintain, and proactively monitor system integrations, interfaces, files, jobs, and data flows. Resolve root causes and prevent business disruption.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advise stakeholders on capabilities, best practices, and industry trends.
• Lead upgrades, patches, enhancements, and AI-enabled changes from planning through adoption while ensuring stability, security, and business value.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that improve processes and workflows. Identify appropriate uses for automation, machine learning, generative AI, and conversational tools.
• Maintain clear system and AI solution documentation, including configurations, support procedures, data requirements, controls, and testing evidence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, system updates, automation platforms, and AI capabilities. Recommend secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Analyze alerts, performance trends, integration failures, recurring incidents, and escalated tickets. Implement corrective and preventive actions that improve reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
