Job summary

RPM & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Automated Welding Machine Operator to join our production team in Rapid City. The role involves welding components, operating automated welding systems, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Training will be provided to operate our equipment, with emphasis on maintaining tooling and following engineering specifications. The position is full-time with shifts that may be 8–12 hours, Monday to Friday, and may require travel per customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding environment or trade school preferred.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal directions.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and follow written work directions.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Weld components as directed and per specifications.
• Safely operate automated welding systems; training provided.
• Maintain equipment per schedules and notify management of issues.
• Assist in developing written process documentation as required.
