Job summary

Infinitum is developing automated test systems for electric motors and VFDs, leveraging LabVIEW and TestStand to enable scalable, reliable data acquisition and analysis. The Test Development Engineer will design, implement, and maintain these systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate performance and drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

Experience creating automated test systems for motors or similar electromechanical devices.
Strong background in hardware-software integration and data acquisition.
Proficiency with LabVIEW and TestStand for test automation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automated test systems using LabVIEW and TestStand to evaluate electric motors, VFDs, and related components.
Create and optimize test algorithms to measure torque, speed, efficiency, and thermal behavior.
Develop custom test scripts and interfaces for hardware control and data acquisition.
Integrate sensors, data acquisition systems, and control hardware into automated setups.
Analyze test data and generate reports with insights on product performance.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve test methods and designs.
Ensure test systems are scalable and meet safety and ISO standards.
