Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer to design and maintain automated test software for ATE systems in Rockford, IL. You will interface with DAQ hardware, instruments, and networking protocols to ensure robust test data and repeatable validation.

The role emphasizes extensive LabVIEW development, hardware integration, and collaboration with design and manufacturing teams. A background in aerospace-related electrical systems is a plus.

• System Development: Design and maintain LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
• Hardware Interfacing: Control instruments such as DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
• Test Execution: Develop and run test scripts, test sequences, and procedures for product validation.
• Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report test data, ensuring compliance with product specifications.
• Collaboration: Work with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize test coverage and troubleshooting

Job description

• 8+ Years of experienced LabVIEW Engineer for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) designs, develops, and debugs software using NI LabVIEW & NI Test Stand to automate validation and production testing. They create Virtual Instruments (VIs), interface with hardware (DAQ, instruments), and ensure high-quality test data. Proficiency in LabVIEW, hardware integration skills, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• System Development: Design and maintain LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
• Hardware Interfacing: Control instruments such as DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital mustimeters.
• Test Execution: Develop and run test scripts, test sequences, and procedures for product validation.
