ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Indianapolis is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated doors at customer sites. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, delivering reliable service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, AAADM certification within 12 months, knowledge of basic electrical circuits, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, and aluminum frames preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors, delivering exceptional service.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Lift and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds, with or without accommodations; climb ladders as needed.
