Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain automated pedestrian doors at customer sites across Ohio. You’ll service sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, ensuring safety and high levels of customer satisfaction.

We offer $25–$40 per hour, overtime eligibility, a company vehicle for travel, uniforms and safety PPE, health/dental/vision, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for growth through AAADM certification and internal career advancement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors to ensure service quality.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
