ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites in the San Francisco area. You’ll handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and maintain safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical doors.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift and perform physically demanding tasks; AAADM certification within 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
