Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You’ll troubleshoot electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic while delivering outstanding service and safety‑conscious work.

Qualified candidates have mechanical aptitude, knowledge of low‑voltage wiring, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork, with AAADM certification pursued within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors, delivering excellent service.
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
