ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Columbia, MD seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, work with aluminum frames and glazing, and maintain strong customer communication; AAADM certification required within one year.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
