Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to provide service and installation of automated door solutions at customer sites in the Indianapolis area. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of door installation experience and must obtain AAADM certification within six months. A valid driver’s license and strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct industry experience in storefront/door installation.
• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors per manufacturer specs.
• Document time, issues, shortages, and site conditions clearly.
• Work safely to protect coworkers, customers, and property.
• Maintain PPE and professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and on-call rotations after certification.
