Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a machine operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. You will operate an automated cage machine or a concrete pipe machine to produce high-quality components.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to lockout/tag-out procedures, and maintaining an 85% efficiency target while performing routine maintenance and supporting team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience operating automated cage machines or concrete pipe machines is preferred.
• Ability to read operator instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions.
• Maintain safe working practices and procedures in operating the machine.
• Follow and understand lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments.
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as directed by management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
