Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a machine operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. The role involves operating an automated cage machine or a concrete pipe machine and maintaining safety standards.

Through this position, you will contribute to efficient production and adherence to lockout/tag-out protocols, while supporting routine maintenance and teamwork in a collaborative environment within CRH's infrastructure division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic math.
• Experience operating automated cage machines or concrete pipe machines is preferred.
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions.
• Operate an automated cage machine or a concrete pipe machine.
• Follow and uphold all lockout tag-out procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments.
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as determined by management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
