Job summary

Americold is seeking an electro-mechanical maintenance technician to maintain electrical and mechanical systems in our cold storage automated facility in Rochelle, IL. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work in the CMMS while ensuring safety and food-grade standards.

The role requires 3–7 years of related experience, CMRT preferred, and familiarity with SAP or Oracle and budgeting/continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in automated facilities.
• CMRT certification or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications or formal training in related experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting, overhauls/rebuilds, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains accurate record of work performed via CMMS.
• Keels work area clean and performs housekeeping duties as required.
• Performs related work and other job assignments as required.
