Job summary

US-Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a dependable Automatic Assembly, Set Up & Operate candidate in Chicopee, MA to set up and operate the line for automotive timing chain components. The role requires following work standards, maintaining quality records, and ensuring on-time production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage changeovers, and monitor equipment to prevent downtime while adhering to all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related experience may be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventive maintenance.
• Safety first mindset and strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and in fast-paced environments.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections at the start of each shift.
• Operate the assembly line machinery (roller link, chain assembly, riveting, etc.) and manage changeovers.
• Maintain production and quality records and traceability for each charge of chain.
• Record downtime using the machine-monitoring system.
• Detect faulty operation or material and report to supervision.
• Keep the work area clean and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
