Job summary

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a skilled Automation Assembly/Set Up & Operate specialist to set up and operate automotive timing chain and components. You will perform changeovers, adjust assembly lines, and maintain quality control records while following standard work instructions.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong mechanical aptitude in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, machining setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.
• Safety First mindset.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks, and hydraulic lift trucks.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Check Sheet.
• Apply oil or grease to specified areas and confirm operability of detectors.
• Troubleshoot chain assembly equipment and interpret alarm messages to correct issues.
• Operate and set up machines for assembly line processes: roller link, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, and related steps.
• Maintain production schedules and quality control records, chain assembly records, and traceability data; refer unusual issues to supervisor.
• Prepare test samples for quality control per work standards and record production data.
• Use machine-monitoring systems to record downtime.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report to supervisor.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other similar duties as required.
