Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Order Processing Technician to translate customer specifications, drawings, and templates into accurate, manufacturable work orders for doors and frames. The role involves drafting, reviewing technical details, and coordinating with customers and manufacturing partners to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong math/problem-solving ability, and experience with AutoCAD or DraftSight.

Qualifications

Strong ability to interpret hardware templates, blueprints, and architectural drawings.
Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and related software.
Experience documenting and communicating technical information clearly and precisely.

Responsibilities

Process customer orders from basic stock to configured builds.
Produce manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD or DraftSight.
Research and resolve technical inquiries from customers and manufacturing partners.
Submit information requests and changes using established protocols.
Interpret steel industry practices and prepare detailed manufacturing requirements.
Review orders and ensure accuracy before processing.
Collaborate with team members to meet lead-time and quality goals.
