Job summary

Lawrence Doors, Inc., a leader in the commercial door industry and part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group, seeks a manufacturing drafter with electrical knowledge to join our Baldwin Park plant.

The candidate must be dependable, mechanical, able to read dimensions and use a tape measure. SolidWorks or DraftSight experience preferred; mechanical engineering background is a plus for improving manufacturing processes.

• Ability to multitask and work on a range of projects.
• Strong initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job description

Lawrence Doors, Inc., a leader in the commercial door industry and a part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a manufacturing drafter with some electrical knowledge, preferably from the commercial and industrial door field, to work at our manufacturing plant in Baldwin Park.

The candidate must be dependable, mechanical, able to read dimensions and use a tape measure.

The candidate must possess a positive and helpful attitude, be self‑motivated, with knowledge in metal fabrication and manufacturing process understanding, and experience with SolidWorks, DraftSight or similar computer programs. Mechanical engineering experience preferred.

We are looking for someone who can help us grow and improve.

Compensation

• Starting wage depends on experience, between $25.00 to $34.00 per hour
