Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by thoroughly assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble, working with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed and quality.

You will use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair body damage, align frames, and apply factory or equivalent paint. Safety and accuracy are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is consistently executed.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and repaint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
