Job summary

Five Star Chevrolet is seeking a Warranty Cancellation & Reserve Specialist to process warranty cancellations, track refunds, and support F&I and Accounting departments. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and professional communication with customers and providers.

You will collaborate with F&I, Accounting, Sales, and Service teams to ensure proper documentation, reconcile accounts, and maintain precise records of cancellations and reserve balances.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with F&I, warranty cancellations, service contracts, or automotive accounting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• CDK or dealership management system experience preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Valid Driver's License and Insurable.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty and vehicle service contract cancellations.
• Review contracts and cancellation requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit cancellation requests to warranty and service contract providers.
• Track cancellations and customer refunds from submission through completion.
• Follow up on outstanding refunds and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of cancellations, refunds, and reserve balances.
• Reconcile warranty and service contract accounts.
• Assist with month-end accounting and reserve reconciliation.
• Work closely with F&I, Accounting, Sales, and Service departments.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding cancellation and refund status.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in dealership and provider records.
• Maintain organized customer and dealership documentation.
• Ensure all cancellation paperwork meets dealership and provider requirements.
