Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering a 30-day trial to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program. The role provides hands-on experience in auto body repair, working with an experienced technician and learning dent removal, sanding, and painting under supervision.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for long periods. The program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and growth in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized workplace.
