Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering a hands-on 30-day trial leading into an 18-month Technician Development Program. Trainees will work with experienced techs, gain exposure to auto body repair processes, and learn to safely use tools and equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some shop experience, and an interest in the automotive industry. This entry-level program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and progressive skill development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade or vocational training preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
