Job summary

Hendrick Automotive Group in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Product & Inventory Specialist to engage customers at the start of the sales process. You will greet clients, educate them on vehicle options, demonstrate features, and coordinate demonstrations and test drives with the sales team.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to company policies. Regular shifts may include evenings and weekends, with a focus on delivering premier customer experiences.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Previous sales and/or customer service experience desired.
• Advanced technology skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Automobile Salesperson License.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and determines vehicle preferences and needs.
• Educates customers on product options and basic specifications.
• Provide product information and brochures upon request.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology to customers.
• Conducts test drives and facility tours.
• Supports sales team and maintains CSI above company standards.
• Records all hours worked in the timekeeping system.
