Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Store Manager (Automotive Service & Tire) to lead a Sun Auto Tire & Service location on-site, owning the customer experience, team development, financial results, safety, and day-to-day operations.

You will set the tone for a customer-first, safety-focused, high-performing team while partnering with District leadership to drive sales, profitability, engagement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• The right candidate is a hands-on automotive service or retail leader who can build a strong team, deliver a great customer experience, manage store performance, and create a positive, accountable culture in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver a professional, customer-first experience that builds trust, repeat business, and long-term customer relationships.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop teammates to drive performance, engagement, and retention.
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable while maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused work environment.
• Own store-level P&L by driving revenue growth, labor efficiency, cost control, and inventory discipline.
• Manage parts and tire inventory in the POS, including receiving, invoicing, returns, core returns, and warranty tracking.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism, partnering with District leadership and Customer Care as needed.
• Serve as the primary store contact for vendors, facilities, and equipment needs, escalating through the appropriate channels.
• Keep the store clean, safe, organized, and compliant with company standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs—including opening and closing shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays as applicable; perform other duties as assigned.
