Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Manager-on-Deck for Driver's Edge to lead store performance, guest services, and day-to-day operations. You will drive sales, control expenses, and mentor a team toward service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management or equivalent automotive industry experience.
• Experience coaching teams to success through clear communication.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans.
• Proven track record of meeting sales and profit goals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain State Inspector license within 30 days.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work weekends.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and communicates regularly with employees on duties, goals, training, development, and customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures by conducting regular meetings and store audits.
• In partnership with HR, recruits, interviews, and hires new employees as needed.
• Conducts performance evaluations for all employees at regular intervals.
• Analyzes and measures business trends; develops plans to maximize sales and meet targets; shares results in store meetings.
• Reviews invoices and reports to identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintains controls over physical and financial assets; follows cash handling procedures.
• Keeps store clean and merchandised to best-in-class standards; inspects equipment and requests maintenance.
• Ensures return of unused parts to vendors and credits to Accounting.
