Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive store performance and guest experience. You will oversee operations, sales, and profitability while leading a team to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires a proven sales track record in auto repair or related industries, strong leadership, and the ability to plan monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Valid driver's license and 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of sales in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent automotive experience.
• Previous experience coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days a week, Monday- Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store performance and guest services to maximize sales and profitability.
• Manage expenses, human resources, and inventory to control costs and shrink.
• Lead and coach the store team, ensure policy compliance and staff development.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and maintain store standards.
• Analyze sales trends and implement plans to hit targets and margins.
• Operate POS, answer calls, and manage daily store operations.
