Job summary

Pep Boys Fort Walton Beach is seeking a customer-focused associate to drive service and sales across the service desk, sales floor, and register. You will engage customers, explain parts and services, schedule appointments, and close transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1 year of automotive service experience.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for customers in store or on the phone.
• Schedule appointments and sell parts and service.
• Manage service work orders and register transactions.
• Assist with customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance.
• Perform express automotive services (oil changes, tires, inspections).
• Maintain safety procedures and proper wheel torque and fluid services.
• Open/close duties as a key holder and keep shop organized.
• Follow company policies on cash, credit, refunds and returns.
