Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and services to keep vehicles running smoothly. You will manage work orders, assist with register transactions, and support management with daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least one year in automotive service or sales, with strong math, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic math to calculate commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• First contact with customers by phone or in-store; engage customers, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and services.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders and register transactions; knowledge of vehicle service and parts.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register tasks, and store maintenance.
• Follow policies for cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns; address customer service issues.
