Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Customer Service & Parts Associate to drive customer engagement at the service desk, sales floor, and register.

You will schedule appointments, upsell parts and services, perform routine automotive tasks, and uphold safety and company standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and about 1 year in automotive service; weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 1 year of automotive service experience preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the service desk, sales floor, and register.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, explain processes and timelines, upsell parts and service.
• Process work orders and register transactions; conduct vehicle inspections and knowledge of parts.
• Support management with store operations, safety, and maintenance.
• Perform express automotive services: oil changes, tire work, etc.
• Ensure safety procedures and standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintain organized shop and comply with policies.
