Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota is seeking an Auto Service Manager to oversee technicians, coach staff, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role blends repair knowledge with people skills and involves selecting, coaching, and supervising vehicle technicians while assisting with parts purchases.

The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires, a pay range of $22.66 to $33.99 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times in order to test drive customer's vehicles.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Manage customer interactions, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
