Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will connect with guests, deliver outstanding service, and help manage the service department by scheduling associates and organizing workflow to ensure timely quality work for guests.

The role emphasizes driving tire and service sales, training teammates, and communicating promotions and warranties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service department experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction by acting as the liaison between technicians and guests.
• Effectively manage the service department as needed.
• Contribute to training and development of service department associates.
• Articulate warranties, promotions, and advertisements.
• Utilize tools to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels.
