Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager in Plano, TX, to support the Store Manager in leading day-to-day operations. This hands-on role balances service bay work, front counter duties, and back-office tasks to drive fast, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean environment.

You will lead by example, build a strong team, and focus on delivering exceptional customer experience while maintaining brand standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the store and act in the manager's absence.
• Coach and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures and POS systems.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive repeat business through excellent service.
