Job summary

Rad Air is seeking an Assistant Manager to serve as the customer service hub for clients and support the Service Manager in daily shop tasks. The role focuses on coordinating appointments, gathering vehicle information, and communicating repair progress to customers.

The candidate will greet clients, review repair orders, and guide them through loaner car processes while maintaining a clean, professional reception area and timely responses to reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
• Problem solving/critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones during business hours to assist clients with appointment scheduling, provide business information (location, hours, etc.) and address general inquiries.
• Greet walk-in clients in a polite, professional manner and collect information related to their service visit and their vehicle’s issue.
• Review repair orders with clients and secure approvals to proceed with repairs.
• Process loaner vehicle paperwork and walk clients through loaner car process and loaner car operation.
• Enter new client data into our Point of Sale system, Tekmetric.
• Contact clients via phone and text with updates on the status of their vehicle’s repairs.
• Perform vehicle delivery process with client which includes collecting payment, explaining services performed, reviewing warranty coverage and showing old parts.
