Job summary

The Gillman Companies in Houston, TX is seeking a customer service associate for the Service Department. You will answer incoming calls, schedule service reservations, review customer history for potential service recommendations, contact customers with special orders, and set appointments for parts deliveries.

This role emphasizes a service-oriented approach, with weekly department meetings and compliance with pre-employment screening including MVR and background checks.

Qualifications

• Up to six months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening to include MVR, drug screen, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Answer in-coming phone calls for the Service Department.
• Schedule service reservations, review customer history for potential service recommendations, contact customers and set appointments for special order parts that have arrived for their vehicle.
• Call all missed appointments and reset appointment dates.
• Make outbound calls to inform customers of open safety recalls that need to be completed.
• Attends weekly department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
