In this full-time role, you will answer service calls, schedule appointments, monitor inquiries, contact customers about recalls and maintenance, and support the service team with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Service Business Development Coordinator

Location: Vara Chevrolet (IH-35 South, San Antonio TX 78224)

Schedule: Full-Time | 5-day work week with alternating Saturdays | Closed Sundays

About The Role

Vara Chevrolet is growing, and we are looking for a Service Business Development Coordinator to be the welcoming voice of our service department. If you have a positive, "can-do" attitude and love helping people, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Communication: Answer incoming service calls, schedule appointments, and provide timely status updates.
• Inquiry Management: Monitor and respond to customer inquiries across BDC tools, automated systems, and email.
• Outbound Outreach: Contact past and current customers regarding factory recalls and recommended maintenance.
• Service Follow-Ups: Re-engage customers who previously declined services, recalls, or special-order parts.
• Administrative Support: Create internal repair orders and manage loaner vehicle services.
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least one prior role in customer service.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong reliability, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license and a positive attitude.
• Spanish speaker is preferred.
• Dealership experience is preferred.
