Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects the brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services per guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally; escalate when needed.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed to maintain stock.
• Ensure shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
